The properties of material change when it is exposed to a change in the temperature, and the field of science that studies it is known as Thermal Analysis. It simultaneously refers to the application of thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry. Various methods are associated with measuring the same. They are called Dielectric thermal analysis, differential thermal analysis, differential scanning calorimetry. Other methods that are used are known as laser flash analysis, thermomechanical analysis, thermo-optical analysis, and derivatography.
