Thermal Gravimetric Analysis(TGA)

TGA analysis, an acronym of thermogravimetric, uses several materials to determine cooling, weight loss on heating, exotherms, endotherms, and more. The substances that are used in this technique are namely rubber, petroleum, explosives, organic materials, food, composites, coatings, plastics, polymers, laminates, biological samples, and many more.

TGA Material Analysis

The technique uses heat to make physical changes and force reactions in materials. TGA quantitatively measures the mass change in materials that are associated with thermal degradation and transition. The technique is used to record the change in mass that occurs from decomposition, dehydration, and oxidation of a sample with temperature and time.

Characteristic thermogravimetric curves are used for chemical compounds and specific materials. The unique sequence from physicochemical reactions, which are related to the molecular structure of the sample, are the reasons for that.

(TGA/FTIR) can provide detailed FTIR analysis of evolved gases when used in the combination of Infra-red spectroscopy, FTIR.

Test Procedure Nishka Research Pvt. Ltd. Follow:

Being a proficient team of experts, we follow a proper procedure to offer you the best services; we set oxidative gas flow rates and inert (usually N2) to offer an apt environment to conduct the test. Our professionals follow the procedure to come up with the perfect solution. Keep the material of the test in the specimen holder and increase the temperature of the furnace. It is essential to set the initial weight reading to 100% and then begin the heating program.

We understand that the gas environment is preselected for all, either a thermal decomposition, thermal-oxidative combination, an oxidative decomposition.

Our knowledge and expertise help us follow all the guidelines. We provide a list of TGA thermogravimetric capabilities.

Why ChooseNishka Research

We have a group of trained professionals and researchers who leave no stone unturned to provide TGA analysis. Nishka Research Pvt Ltd has the competency to measure the percent weight loss of a test sample while the specimen is heated at a consistent rate in a proper environment. When we heat the sample material, a suitable environment is needed. Also, the heating should be done at a uniform rate because TGA measures the weight loss of a test sample. The parameters of the changed weight indicate inert filter, volatiles, the composition of the sample, and indications of thermal stability. You can call us anytime to deliver much-needed services.
