LC MS MS Analysis

LC-MS/MS: Most common, versatile, robust bioanalytical method

lc ms ms test

This bioanalytical method is the most common and is used for automation and unattended analysis. It is a very robust, versatile, and sensitive methodology that is used by small molecules. Many features and functions of the method are similar to HPLC/UV. It is used before MS detection and UV Detection. As we have read about the detection method, MS- Mass Spectrometry relies on the mass-to-charge ratio of a compound. In the chromatographic separation and the energy source, the molecules are ionized.

Wide Array of Applications

LG MS MS test widely used for biological samples, such as analysis of compounds that lack chromophores, updating existing methodology, and structure confirmation analyses. The other trace analysis features are used in environmental samples and pharmaceutical analyses.

Problems Associated With MS Detection

The major problem that is associated with the detection method is controlling the ionization process. The loopholes that are linked with incomplete ionization and interference can give rise to different problems. The major being- accuracy and poor precision. For that, a huge number of technologies and solvents, ionization techniques, even chromatographic separations.

Strengths of LC-MS/MS

Detector’s high specificity makes it possible to continue without any confirmatory detection method. It is one of the biggest advantages. The property of high sensitivity helps to detect some compounds that are below 1 part per trillion. In addition to that, excellent reproducibility is another strength of the detection method.

The strength of this detection method lies in the power of LC. It depends on a wide range of combined compounds with the capability of Mass Spectrometry. The main motive is to quantify compounds with a high level of selectivity and sensitivity based on unique mass/charge (m/z) transitions.

Additional Features of LC-MS/MS

The process of detecting the compounds is carried out in charged particles that strike a detector and create a current.

The additional features and steps needed are ion capture MS, time of flight MS and others. To successfully carry out the improvement process, we need unique methods and use different MS detector setups. Accuracy, better sensitivity, and precision would be the result. And all these can be achieved here with our experts.

I am a PhD scholar from Kaunas University at Lithuania, Europe. I have given a sample to perform SEM analysis of the organic tissue. The results are highly satisfactory and impressive. The service was really excellent, on time( even before the time schedule), consumer friendly. cost to the academic samples are very less comparing with others. Once again thanks to Nishka for providing me the service ontime as I am really in urgency...
