At Nishka Research, Cutting edge instrumental techniques are employed at is required for deformulation analysis. Instrumentation includes Thermal, , Chromatographic, Spectroscopic, Microscopic and Radiographic techniques, LC-MS, GC-MS, NMR, FT-IR, ICP, and several other instruments. Most deformulation projects will require some separation of components within the sample.
Thermal techniques like DSC, DTA & TGA are used for evaluation of physical properties of the material like Melting point, Glass transition and Loss on drying. While, Chromatographic techniques like HPLC, GC, HTPLC will aid in separation of components present in the sample. Whereas, Spectroscopic techniques like UV/Vis, FTIR, EDS, XRD, XRF, NMR and Raman are used for identification of components.
Microscopic techniques like Optical microscopy, SEM, AFM & TEM are used to evaluate microstructure and morphological characteristics of the components. Whereas, Radiographic techniques are applied for Non destructive evaluation (Non-destructive Technique / NDT).
Combination of techniques are applied where ever they are required for deformulation studies. Based on predefined project scope the appropriate techniques will be selected and applied to keep the project cost as economical as possible with trustworthy results.
